Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Postinger ("Posty," "the Service"). By messaging Posty on WhatsApp, you agree to these terms.

1. What Postinger Is

Postinger is an AI-powered social media assistant that operates through WhatsApp. You send messages (text, voice notes, photos), and Posty generates Instagram posts for your review and approval. Nothing is published without your explicit consent.

2. Your Account

Your WhatsApp phone number serves as your account identifier. You are responsible for keeping your phone secure and for all activity under your number. One phone number = one Postinger account.

3. Content Ownership

• Your content — You own everything you send to Posty (photos, text, voice notes) and retain all rights to it.
• AI-generated content — Captions and images Posty creates for you are yours to use however you like. We claim no ownership over generated content.
• License to us — You grant Postinger a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (generating posts, publishing to Instagram).

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Posty uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate captions and content. While we strive for accuracy and quality:

• AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate, or off-brand
• You are responsible for reviewing all content before approving publication
• We recommend reading every post before saying "post it"
• Postinger is not liable for content you approve and publish

5. Instagram Integration

When you connect your Instagram account:

• We access your account only through Instagram's official API
• We only publish posts you've explicitly approved
• We fetch basic post insights (likes, comments, reach) to send you performance updates
• You can disconnect at any time through Instagram's settings
• You must comply with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Postinger to:

• Generate spam, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Create content that violates any laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
• Violate Instagram's Community Guidelines or Terms of Use
• Generate content promoting violence, hate speech, or illegal activities

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Posty available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Things that may cause downtime include server maintenance, WhatsApp API changes, or issues beyond our control. We're a small team doing our best.

8. Pricing & Payment

The Starter plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly. We'll notify you before any price changes. You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the billing period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postinger is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using Posty at any time — just stop messaging. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we'll notify you via WhatsApp with the reason.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via WhatsApp at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
